its been almost a week. my pet project is still in tow patiently waiting for the media uploader of friendster to get over its incompetence. im really considering to migrate this on another blog and just link it here. oh my.. sadness.

im having trouble in uploading photos. 6 of 365 has been waiting to get uploaded for few days now

3 of 365 like the previous entry has never been posted online. I remember when I was shooting this, I wasn’t thinking about angles or kimono’s. When I saw these girls, I got that tiny sting of nostalgia at how they enjoy their tender age with their friends and get lost in a stream of conversations.  Yesterday was my bestfriend’s (since highschool) birthday. And today before posting this and while choosing a photo I had a reminiscing chat with another one of my bestfriend (since college). I thought I captured the girls’ laughs, though its hardly visible from this picture.. but then again, I think its just me who’s crazy enough to remember my friends’ ardent (aka rabid) laughter.

About the insert: taken with Canon EOS Kiss Digital X. EF lens 55-200 mm. Photoshop v7 is used to adjust color mixer and resize the photo. Gaussian noise filter was also used to render the photo looking like old.

2 of 365 was freshly taken yesterday, Saturday, Oct 4th at Tsuchiura City where they held one of Japan’s largest fireworks competition. Heavy traffic was expected and we opted to go there by bicycle. After cycling for 40 minutes we arrived at our destination- at a rice paddy. It was a good site nonetheless. The show ran for about 3 hours. We oohhed-and-ahhhed in between bites of karaage (jap fried chicken) and shutter clicks.

Trivia: ‘Hanabi’, ‘fireworks’ in the Japanese language can also be translated as ‘flower fire’. This flower image comes from beautiful spherical shaped blossoms such as the peony or the chrysanthemum, well known as Japan’s Royal Family’s symbol. (reposted from here)

It was one lovely afternoon when my friend Herb and I decided to cycle to the biggest park here in Tsukuba. We grabbed some snacks and cocktail drinks and sit in front of this shot to savor fresh spring air.

i hope I can keep this picture blogging. I intend to share 365 of my photos to my dear friends back home. One photo a day is a long shot but it will hopefullyl sum up to be 365 pics. I could have picked a more “tried and tested” sites to blog, but friendster is one if not, the oldest networking sites that I signed my self into since I pronounced my presence in the cyberworld. So here. Whether someone reads this or not.

oo nga pala! meron pala ako nito! i totally forgot about this. well.. i thought of reviving this and more so i thought this could be a great site for somthing-something blog, but i sort of click here and there and nothing seem to make sense to me. lol. im just not your next door webmaster wiz.  too bad though. this was like my first (?) blog ata. hope friendster will provide more options for layout and templates. ill still keep this coz this is very close to home..

Ayyyyyy brownout!! anong kamalasan ito raqx!!

This was the first outburst when we "almost" reach the bridal shower destination- the Roldan’s Mansion (lamat talaga papa jayps!).

Together with the cast- mama owen (at driver’s lap.. este seat!), fafa edwin (drives owen.. ups! the adventure), mamu lea (bangag et ngarag), ate russel (nagpapanggap na conservative), tolski chinggay (binagyo at binaha!), dinaballs (exceeds expectations), sheanne ganda (ariba kantatera!), hipag tess (aegis missing twin), and of course moi raqx (ang bida mabisyosa!) we traverse the road of far U-turn coz we missed the right turn only to be welcomed by fresh burnt ispirma. Ohh well…

Late night dinner prayer…

When prayer is sincerely spoken and everybody prayed in unison—Heaven is convinced to send miracles.. tadah!! A spark of light enticed everybody to eat fast and dive through the microphone. After 1-2 songs mamu lea heated the event with the AVP entitled RAQXXXOLOGY. Aatakihin ako sa tuwa! Then followed by the games on “how well do I know my groom” where the mechanics will require me to give right answers (of course!) and point ako sino tatagay.. pag

sagot ko I STRIP! (part by part syempre) so luckily I was able to get away with the strip thing after 3 mistakes and I was asked to choose whether a small, medium or large prize! Syempre extra large! –the prize??! 1 piling ng extra large BANANAS!

The difficulty of blogging under intense emotion is it predisposes the writer to either grammatical lapses or typographical error. I don’t excuse my blog for harboring a lot of it lately (hehe). While a reader may get irritated or humored, skeptic or scorned shows to say that we don’t share the same zest for the event that’s yet to unveil ( literally and figuratively). Being too busy with the correctness of the text rather than with the content diminishes the purpose of this blog. I may sound defensive but really… I don’t wish to edit my posts if it would mean an alteration of the date and time when it was written and published. Imperfection is perennial. And p-e-r-f-e-c-t doesn’t spell me. Now if you find your eyebrow(s) rose to ceiling, lips twisting in a mocking sarcasm…enjoy your Saturday night on
